TOPIC: Amicus 18

Re: Amicus 18 7 years 6 months ago #16097

I have an app using an amicus 18 with PIC18F25F20. I have it running in the experimental board but when I insert a new chip to be used in the actual device it won't load the program. Do I have to install the boot loader first and if so where do I get the code?

Thanks,
Ray

If you want a bootloader, you'll have to program one into the new chip.

If you're looking for the stock bootloader try

Hi, yes you need to install a bootloader first. I found this Zip file along time ago from the Amicus18 website, it might help you? it contains a Amicus18 bootloader installer but you may just find the bootloader HEX file in the firmware folder and programme just the HEX file to your Microchip instead.
