This is fascinating!!!

This is an awesome approach to soil moisture content sampling that does not use the resistive method that usually leads to contact corrosion due to electrolysis. From what I have read, it is far more accurate and stable. I can't wait to try it! And I will get my chance very soon because this is going to be one of the projects I connect my project server nodes to. The data will feed a database along side temperature, light, and humidity readings from the location of the plants. This data can also be inserted into the metadata of each digital image taken of the plants from a stationary camera element. Then an analysis can be made of the condition of the plant and the conditions it is experiencing at that moment. The only thing missing is Ph readings, because I have not found a cheap way to sensor-sample that. Yet.
