Greets All!!

I just salvaged 15 analog cameras from some old security camera pods and I certainly do not want to network my house with NTSC video cables. So I had an idea and wondered how viable it would be to implement.

My idea is to digitize the video at the source, right behind the analog camera, and then send that information over my home network using an FPGA interface of sorts. I am sure there are commercial "heads' for this sort of thing, but this site, and my brain is not about end-user products. So yeah, I am looking for a module / board.

Is it cost-effective? I do not know yet. Would it even be worth the cost to digitize analog video from an old camera as opposed to just using a digital one? That's a big question for sure. In this day and age though, the once big NTSC video signal is now just a signal that can be digitized much more easily, and more about programming and less about the analog hardware.

I would like some thoughts on this. Thank you for your time!
